		<description>Of course. Religions are memeplexes competing with each other for resources (minds) in an environment of scarcity, with variation from generation to generation. It&#039;s quite sensible to view them with the same kind of model one would view viruses - transmissible, facing immune systems, mutating, etc. </description>
